PACIFIC GROVE, Monterey County — October 27, 2026. The Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its 23rd annual Holiday Parade of Lights for Thursday, December 3, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. in downtown Pacific Grove.
The 2026 theme
This year’s organizers selected “A Storybook Christmas”, inviting community groups, schools, businesses and families to interpret holiday stories through illuminated floats, costumes and marching performances. The Chamber says participation in the parade is free and provides an application for groups wishing to take part.
Where to watch
The event is planned along Lighthouse Avenue. The organizers describe it as taking place rain or shine. Visitors should check up-to-date information about staging, vehicle restrictions, parking and accessibility before arriving; an event listing does not provide exact times for every block’s closure.
Businesses considering participation should review the official parade application rather than assume walk-on entries are permitted. Free entry for participants does not establish that every nearby parking space or vendor product is free.
